New Escort Mk2 Bodyshell – Ultimate Group 4 Historic Spec – To works quality – Fully painted
Built by leading Group-4 Historic specialist Meirion Evans, Wales Motorsport Fabrication to the highest standards
This is a brand new build using a new manufactured Escort Mk2 bodyshell, this shell is hand built to the highest possible standards: to works quality with over 200 man hours spent on hand crafting each part of the shell.
Fully dry built to accept BDA/BDG engine, ZF gearbox, Atlas axle etc. with all welded brackets/mounts fitted in place, all holes drilled before painting.
Fully painted, including inside, underside, etc using only highest quality paints and materials
Specification includes:
Brand new base bodyshell including steel doors, fibreglass bonnet and boot
Fully dry built to accept all specific components
FIA Historic spec multi point weld in roll cage – Turret mounted
Fully strengthened and gusseted engine bay
Radiator cut-outs & mounts
Engine chassis mounts for BDA/BDG
Weld on strut brace
Strut top plates
Reservoir mounts
Gearbox tunnel for ZF
Large diff tunnel
Watts linkage towers
Round turrets
4 link Boxes
Seat rails
Fuel tank mounts
Dry sump tank mounts
Fire wall
Exhaust mounts fitted
Fully strengthened and seam welded
Sill tubes fitted
All bulkhead holes drilled to suit engine engine
Bulkhead oil and fuel unions welded in

Bodyshell can be collected from Motorsport-Tools , North Wales, UK
We can arrange delivery to UK and Europe at extra cost
We can also ship world wide using our custom made shipping crates
Sold as a replacement bodyshell, no ID included
