Porsche 911 S 2.2 MY71, in its original color Conda green with black interior, sold new in Italy at the end of 1970 and bought by the current owner in 1995 as street legal car, before being converted in 2001 for racing purpose, according to GT (Group 3) specs. The car still has its original engine and looks mainly preserved: even if it raced for 10 years, most of the original parts were preserved.
Part of the interior and of the body details, dismounted to race, will be delivered with the car.
These are the main modifications of this Gr.3 Porsche 911 S: 5 speed gearbox with short CWP, reinforced clutch, RS-style door panels, sport steering wheel, hood lockers, double fire extinguishing system, interphone anche co-driver lamp, original Halda Tripmaster.
The car raced both on track and on rallies, with also two participations at the Rally Montecarlo Historique.
If the car would be used for racing, the ROPS must be renewed, as for the FIA HTP, currently expired. Together with the Technical Passport, the car comes with Sassa Roll-cage and fuel tank foam certificates.
This 911 could be bought for different purposes: it could be brought back to original conditions, as an awesome Conda green 2.2S, or it could carry on its 'racing career' as a Group 3, or even as a Group 4, upgraded to 2.3 ST.
The car could be seen by appointment in Modena. Further details on www.gulfblue.it
