This car was the first A110 1600 S imported, in 1971, in Italy; Italian first owner: Renault Italy. The Italian subsidiary of Renault announces import with a statement of 9 February 1971. Used by Renault for the road test and the dynamic test by the monthly magazine 'Quattroruote'; who published in the issue of March 1971 an article which enhances the performance and sportsmanship at the expense of comfort and sound insulation of the passenger compartment. The famous navigator rally Cica Lurani put together the car for the magazine 'Il Pilota'; also it was also the basis for the first model of these cars built in Italy.
The car was later sold to be designed for racing.
In the early 80s, it is no longer competitive in the speed events, was transformed into a car slalom which saw among its pilots John Bormida and Emilio Rizzi.

This is car that can participate in the Le Mans Classic being a model that has made the 24 Hours of Le Mans at the time.
Can participate in the Le Mans Classic (in the Plateau 5, '66/'71).
