Car with certified history, officially registered in the Lotus Register USA with this chassis number.
It was sold new, together with 4 other Lotus 20 Formula Juniors, to the official Lotus importer in the USA, called Grand Prix, owned by Mr. Sy Kabach on 24-06-1961.
He raced in 1961 and 1962 in the American East Coast races.
It is likely that he also raced this car, because in addition to being an importer of Lotus cars,
Sy Kabach was also a racing driver.
The car was sold in Italy in 2005.
It has been completely restored, and since then it has only participated in 3 short uphill races (Vernasca Silver Flag, and 2 others, for a total of only 100 km covered...)
CONDITIONS:
Fresh from a full AZ restoration, all parts are original, like the correct Ford 1100 engine, Hewland MK 4 5-speed gearbox, new drum brakes, and everything else...... It is Only the seat belts and fire extinguisher need to be replaced. Otherwise it is ready to run.
Has an F.I.A. HTP issued in 2006 (later to be renewed)

Fu venduta nuova, insieme ad altre 4 Lotus 20 Formula Juniors, all'importatore ufficiale Lotus negli Stati Uniti, chiamato Grand Prix, di proprietà di Mr. Sy Kabach' il 24-06-1961.
Ha corso nel 1961 e nel 1962 nelle gare della costa orientale americana.
È probabile che abbia anche corso con questa macchina, perché oltre ad essere un importatore di auto Lotus,
Sy Kabach era anche un pilota automobilistico.
L'auto è stata venduta in Italia nel 2005.
E' stata completamente restaurata, e da allora ha partecipato solo a 3 brevi gare in salita (Vernasca Silver Flag, e altre 2, per un totale di soli 100 km percorsi...)

Freschi di un restauro completo, dalla A alla Z.
Tutte le parti sono originali, come il corretto motore Ford 1100, il cambio Hewland MK 4 a 5 marce, i nuovi freni a tamburo, e tutto il rimanente.
È necessario sostituire solo l'estintore
e le cinture di sicurezza
Altrimenti è pronto per l'esecuzione.
Ha una F.I.A. HTP emesso nel 2006 (poi da rinnovare)
