This Twingo R2 was built at the official Alpine Renault Sport factory, which guarantees the highest quality standards and strict compliance with the original homologation.
The chassis features a reinforced steel monocoque with a welded Matter roll cage, designed to ensure safety and stiffness under racing conditions. It is powered by a 1.6-liter, 4-cylinder, 16-valve Renault F4R RS engine, managed by a Magneti Marelli ECU with an SRT box. It delivers 160 hp at 7,250 rpm and 160 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, offering a responsive and reliable power delivery. The engine is practically new, with only three rallies, two rallysprints, and three hillclimbs on it, and it has always been driven without over-revving or putting excessive stress on it.
The transmission is a 5-speed SADEV sequential gearbox plus reverse, with a steering-wheel-mounted joystick, a ZF-type limited-slip differential (LSD), and a hydraulic single-disc clutch—all engineered for sharp and direct handling. The suspension, recently serviced by KRS Shocks, features a pseudo-MacPherson front setup and a trailing-arm rear setup, both equipped with adjustable 2-way dampers, providing an excellent balance between precision and stability.
As for the brakes, it features 280 mm ventilated front discs (brand new, with only one race on them) and 240 mm solid rear discs, combined with a hydraulic handbrake, guaranteeing stopping power and control on all types of layouts. It sits on 16” lightweight and high-resistance aluminum SPEEDLINE wheels.
