This BMW S14 inline-four was rebuilt by Trackstar Racing in Mountain View, California, with a 2.5L premium stroker kit before being installed, along with the included Getrag 235/5 dogleg five-speed manual gearbox, in a 1975 BMW 2002 in 2009. The engine features a cast-iron block, an aluminum cylinder head, dual overhead camshafts, and a black-finished intake plenum with “BMW M Power” lettering. In addition to the gearbox, the package includes a wiring harness and Bosch Motronic control module from a 1989 E30 M3.
