Former European F 5000 competitor and well known Brazilian race organiser, Carlos Avalone was also the Lola south America agent. He asked Lola to design a car with a spsceframe chassis that he could manufacture in Brasil in order to match the new local regulations. The suspension used a combination of Lola T70 and Lola F5000 parts, whilst the body came from the Can Am Lola T222.
Several cars were built using Chrysler, Fotd and Chevrolet engines mated to Hewland DG 300 gearboxes.
This particular car was raced during 1972 by Marcelo de Paoli before later being sold to the Motoradio Team. It was droven by Francisco Lameirao and had a very duccessful season. winning 3 races and finishing 3rd in the 1973 Divisiao 4 championship and continue racing in 1974.
The car languished in Brazil for many years before brought to England in 1994. It remained unrestored until it was bought nt Autotune in 2007 and being restored to its current condition.
